A team of trained clinicians called Care Coaches are now available (8 am to Midnight) to offer information, support and guidance to people. The care coaches include licensed clinical therapists, social workers, registered nurses and other professionals who have education and experience in social services, mental health and/or addictions. If someone requires urgent assistance, they can be referred to Addiction and Mental Health Mobile Crisis Services, to the local emergency room, or they can request aid from emergency services via 911.

Addiction and mental health social workers and/or nurses provide timely and well-coordinated responses to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis and who require assessment or intervention in the community. Mobile Crisis Units provide interventions to defuse situations in the community to individuals and families outside of the usual hours of operations including evenings and weekends. Assessment and crisis intervention occur in the person’s own environment or the environment of their choice.

This drop-in centre is for youth ages 16 to 24 who are either homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless. Services include: such as information sessions, counselling, employment options, meal preparation, artistic programs, mental health support group and recreational programming.  On-site access to laundry, showers, food, clothing, phone and internet are provided free of charge.
